Heart Disease Program

Heart disease develops when the blood vessels (arteries) that carry oxygen-rich blood become damaged or blocked, severely reducing blood flow to the heart. When the heart does not receive enough blood for an extended period of time, permanent damage to the heart can occur.

Members ages 18 and older who have been diagnosed with heart disease are eligible for the Heart Disease program, which will help you better manage heart disease. A few times each year, you'll receive our Lifestyles for Heart Disease newsletter.
