Joleen Immerfall of Whitmore Lake, Mich., was reelected to the BlueCaid of Michigan Board of Directors on October 12. She is a BlueCaid member and will represent BlueCaid members on the board of directors.
Immerfall has been a BlueCaid board member since 2007. She has been a licensed practical nurse and served as past president of the Council of Catholic Women in Washtenaw County. She enjoys being on the board because it gives her the chance to represent members and to have her voice heard.
She likes learning about the programs BlueCaid offers its members. She is especially interested in what BlueCaid does to improve lead screening among children. Immerfall is a devoted grandmother, wife and mother. She is also guardian to her grandchildren and enjoys the time she spends with them.
Immerfall was elected by fellow BlueCaid members. Her second three-year term begins on January 1, 2010.
