Blue Distinction Centers for Transplants®
Our Blue Distinction Centers for Transplants program was established in 1996. The program recognizes hospitals that meet quality criteria for specific transplant procedures. In most cases, when a transplant becomes necessary, BCN case managers work with the member and physician to select an appropriate facility. Kidney transplants are coordinated by BCN and the member’s physician.
