Blue Distinction Centers for Complex and Rare Cancers®
Our Blue Distinction Centers for Complex and Rare Cancers program was established in 2008 to help members make more informed decisions in selecting a quality hospital for the treatment of specific complex and rare forms of cancer. Selecting a hospital with a Blue Distinction designation is not required.
A list of hospitals currently designated as Blue Distinction Centers for Complex and Rare Cancers along with the types of cancers covered by the designation is available using the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association Blue Distinction Center Finder.
