Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease management program
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD, is a disease of the lungs. With COPD, the lung passages thicken and narrow, and you experience increased mucus (phlegm) and more coughing. Although COPD may include many different lung diseases, the most common are emphysema and chronic bronchitis. A spiromety test is used to confirm your diagnosis of COPD. We want to help you understand COPD and learn how to maintain a healthy, active life with it.
