BCN Advantage HMO-POS members are always covered for urgent and emergency care no matter where they go.
You may go to any emergency room, anywhere in the world, if you reasonably believe you need emergency care. You pay a copayment for each Medicare-covered emergency room visit. This amount is waived if you are admitted to the hospital within one day for the same condition.
For urgently needed care (nonemergency) from a non-BCN Advantage provider anywhere in the world, you pay a copayment for each Medicare-covered urgently needed care visit.
Use the Member Claim/Reimbursement Form (PDF) if you paid out of pocket and need to get reimbursed or if you want to send us a provider bill for covered services.
Except for emergency and urgent care, if you choose to go to a doctor outside the BCN Advantage network, you must pay for these services yourself. Neither BCN Advantage nor the Original Medicare plan will pay for these services.
For routine care, you must seek service from our network of doctors, specialists and hospitals. You can search online to find a doctor.
