Group pharmacy options

A prescription drug rider is an integral part of keeping your employees healthy as it allows us to coordinate their medical and pharmaceutical care. This coordination of care can help prevent negative drug interactions that otherwise may have occurred.

We also use our members’ prescription data in conjunction with their medical claims data to ensure optimum use of medications for conditions such as diabetes, asthma, heart disease and depression.


Copayment Plans

Each prescription drug rider outlines the terms and conditions of coverage in accordance with our drug formulary. To purchase prescription drug coverage through Blue Care Network, groups must also purchase health care coverage from us.

Employer groups with fewer than 100 enrolled employees can choose one of our packaged drug riders. Groups with more than 100 enrolled employees can either choose one of our packaged drug riders or we will customize a rider to meet your needs.
