The BCBSM Foundation

The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation is our philanthropic affiliate. The foundation focuses its funding within Michigan on the following priorities:

• Quality and costs of health care
• Access to health care
• Community health

Approximately $2.5 million is available annually for grants to support the health care-related work of Michigan’s researchers and nonprofit community organizations. Foundation programs support research, foster community solutions to critical health care problems, acknowledge excellence in research and support medical and doctoral students interested in health care.
